Who looks after your information

What I collect
When you apply through the form: your name, email address and country of residence, and, if you give them, your phone number, how you'd like to travel, your preferred timing, your camera system, how you heard about the journey and anything you write in your message.
Please don't send health or other sensitive details through the form. If they matter for a booking, we'll deal with them then.
Why I use it
Only to answer your application, arrange a call with you and, if you ask for one, send you an offer. I rely on your consent and on steps you ask me to take before a possible booking.
Who else handles it
This site and its form are hosted by Netlify, Inc. in the United States. Applications reach me by email through Namecheap's Private Email service. These providers may process data on servers outside South Africa and the EU.
I don't sell your information or share it with anyone else, and I won't add you to a mailing list without your permission.
How long I keep it
Up to 12 months after you apply. If you book, the booking terms take over. You can ask me to delete it sooner at any time.
Cookies and tracking
This site sets no cookies and uses no analytics, advertising or tracking tools. Fonts and images are served from this site itself. Like any web host, Netlify records technical data such as IP addresses in its server logs to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your information, and withdraw your consent at any time, by emailing me. If you're unhappy with how I've handled it, you can complain to South Africa's Information Regulator (inforegulator.org.za) or to the data protection authority where you live.
Changes
If this notice changes, the new version will appear here with a new date.
